Bottle Cap Magnets

Want a fun and easy little craft to add a little pop of color to your fridge? These bottle cap magnets are super quick and easy to make!

What you’ll need:

  • Bottle caps (either from Hobby Lobby for about $2 per package or save some beer bottle caps)
  • Thick washers or nuts
  • Magnet buttons (Walmart for about $2 for 18)
  • Hot glue gun

Step 1: Remove the protective paper from the sticky side of the magnet and using your hot glue gun, glue your washer or nut to the center of the magnet. Note: the sticky foam on the magnet is not very strong, so that’s why I used the hot glue as well.

Step 2: Cover as much of your washer/nut as you can with hot glue and stick to the inside center of your bottle cap. Hold in place until dry.

Step 3: Once your hot glue has cooled, you can stick the magnet to your fridge!

You don’t have to use the washer or nut, but I did so the edges of the bottle cap would sit slightly away from my fridge so it wouldn’t scratch it and also to make easier to grab.

Until next time!
